Ingredients:
— 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and quartered
— 1 bottle of champagne or sparkling wine
— 1 tablespoon sugar
— Juice of 1 lemon
— Lemon slices and extra strawberries for garnish
Instructions:
1. In a blender or food processor, blend together the strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice until smooth.
2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine-mesh sieve and discard any solids.
3. Divide the strawberry puree evenly among champagne glasses and top with champagne or sparkling wine.
4. Garnish with lemon slices and extra strawberries.
